The Grafton Liquor Accord aims to reduce alcohol-related violence, anti-social behaviour and other alcohol related harm within the local community. In NSW, there are over 140 liquor accords in operation.
TheĀ Grafton Liquor Accord is part of a statewide network of over 140 liquor accords across NSW, all committed to reducing alcohol-related harm in their communities. Backed by harm minimisation strategies and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) principles, the Grafton Liquor Accord is a partnership-driven initiative, bringing together Local licensees, NSW Police, Roads & Traffic Authority, Mid North Coast Area Health Service, Clarence Valley Council, Licensing authorities, Local businesses, Health services, Residents and visitors to the region. Together, these stakeholders work proactively to create safer and more enjoyable environments in and around licensed venues.
